Prof. Dr. G\u00fcnel, Demir\u00f6ren  <strong>Haber<\/strong> Ajans\u0131&#8217;na yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131klamada, ABD&#8217;de 30&#8217;a yak\u0131n merkezden, 6 bin ile 7 bin 500 hastan\u0131n dahil edilece\u011fi bu ara\u015ft\u0131rma ile anevrizmaya yol a\u00e7an genetik yatk\u0131nl\u0131\u011f\u0131 tam olarak belirlemeyi ve \u00f6l\u00fcmc\u00fcl beyin kanamas\u0131n\u0131 \u015fimdi olu\u015fmadan \u00f6nlemeyi ama\u00e7lad\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6yledi.<\/p>\n<p>Yale T\u0131p Fak\u00fcltesi Beyin Cerrahisi Anabilim K\u0131sm\u0131 Lideri Beyin T\u00fcm\u00f6r\u00fc Ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131 Program\u0131 Y\u00f6neticisi ve Yale N\u00f6rogenetik Program\u0131 E\u015f Y\u00f6neticisi Prof. Dr. Murat G\u00fcnel, bilhassa beyin t\u00fcm\u00f6rleri ve anevrizma geneti\u011fi konusundaki ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131yla hem Amerika&#8217;da hem de d\u00fcnya bilim etraflar\u0131ndaki en parlak isimlerden biri olarak g\u00f6steriliyor. T\u0131pk\u0131 vakitte Amerikan Ulusal T\u0131p Akademisi \u00fcyesi de olan ve Nature, Science \u00fczere en itibarl\u0131 bilim mecmualar\u0131nda yay\u0131nlanan \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131yla, beyin cerrahi alan\u0131nda ses getiren ara\u015ft\u0131rmalara imza atan Prof. Dr. G\u00fcnel, son olarak iki ay evvel Yale \u00dcniversitesi&#8217;ndeki en y\u00fcksek r\u00fctbe olan &#8220;Sterling Profes\u00f6r&#8221; unvan\u0131na lay\u0131k g\u00f6r\u00fcld\u00fc. Prof. Dr. G\u00fcnel, ge\u00e7ti\u011fimiz y\u0131l da ismini \u00f6nc\u00fc beyin damar cerrah\u0131-bilim insan\u0131 Dr. Dacey&#8217;den alan ve alan\u0131n\u0131n en uygun akademisyenlerine verilen Ralph G. Prof. Dr. G\u00fcnel, beyin hastal\u0131klar\u0131 i\u00e7inde t\u00fcm\u00f6rlerle birlikte en \u00f6l\u00fcmc\u00fcl tablolardan olan anevrizma (beyin damarlar\u0131n\u0131n geni\u015fleyerek balonla\u015fmas\u0131) ile ilgili, d\u00fcnyan\u0131n en b\u00fcy\u00fck ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131ndan birini ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirmek i\u00e7in Ulusal S\u0131hhat Enstit\u00fcs\u00fc&#8217;ne ba\u015fvurduklar\u0131n\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131klad\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;30 YILDIR ARA\u015eTIRIYORUZ&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Prof. Dr. G\u00fcnel, &#8220;Anevrizmalar beyin t\u00fcm\u00f6rleri ile bir arada maalesef beyin cerrahisinde ilgilendi\u011fimiz en a\u011f\u0131r hastal\u0131klardan biri. Biz yakla\u015f\u0131k 30 y\u0131ld\u0131ra yak\u0131n vakittir hem anevrizmalar\u0131n hem beyin t\u00fcm\u00f6rlerinin genetik yap\u0131s\u0131n\u0131 anlamaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmak i\u00e7in \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131m\u0131z\u0131 devam ettiriyoruz. \u015eayet yak\u0131n ailenizde iki yahut daha fazla ki\u015fi beyin kanamas\u0131 ya da anevrizma tan\u0131s\u0131 konulduysa b\u00fcy\u00fck ihtimalle genetik bir yatk\u0131nl\u0131k olabilir. Bu hastalarda sigara kullan\u0131m\u0131 ya da y\u00fcksek tansiyon \u00fczere risk fakt\u00f6rleri varsa, bunlar\u0131n tedavi edilmesi gerekebilir. Ayr\u0131yeten beyin damarlar\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6rmemizi sa\u011flayan MR anjiyo ya da tomografi ile test yap\u0131lmas\u0131 laz\u0131m. Radyolojik prosed\u00fcrler d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda bu anevrizmalar\u0131n kanamadan tespiti \u00fczere bir teknik yok. O y\u00fczden yak\u0131n ailesinde iki yahut daha fazla beyin kanamas\u0131 ya da anevrizma te\u015fhisi konulmu\u015fsa, 30 ya\u015f\u0131ndan sonra bilhassa risk fakt\u00f6rlerini de ta\u015f\u0131yorsa, radyolojik form\u00fcllere ba\u015fvurmas\u0131 gerekiyor&#8221; dedi.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;KANAMA OLMADAN TEDAV\u0130S\u0130 DAHA KOLAY&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Hem anevrizmalar hem de hipertansiyon, diyabet \u00fczere \u00f6b\u00fcr yayg\u0131n kronik hastal\u0131klar\u0131n hepsinin yava\u015f yava\u015f genetik temellerini anlamaya ba\u015flad\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 da kaydeden Prof. Dr. G\u00fcnel, \u015f\u00f6yle devam etti: &#8220;Anevrizmalarla ilgili konu\u015facak olursak, bu sayede kesin bir bi\u00e7imde erken te\u015fhis koyabilece\u011fiz ki, kanama olmadan, sekeller ortaya \u00e7\u0131kmadan hastal\u0131\u011f\u0131 belirleyebilelim. Tedaviler de kanama olmadan \u00e7ok daha inan\u00e7l\u0131. Evvelden te\u015fhis koymak i\u00e7in genetik temellerin belirlenmesi laz\u0131m &#8220;<\/p>\n<p>YAKLA\u015eIK 7 B\u0130N K\u0130\u015e\u0130 5 YIL BOYUNCA TAK\u0130P ED\u0130LECEK<\/p>\n<p>FARKLI T\u0130PTEK\u0130 ANEVR\u0130ZMALARIN GENET\u0130\u011e\u0130 DE \u00c7\u00d6Z\u00dcLECEK<\/p>\n<p>Prof. Dr. G\u00fcnel, b\u00f6ylesine b\u00fcy\u00fck \u00e7apl\u0131 bir ara\u015ft\u0131rmada yapay zeka dayana\u011f\u0131n\u0131n ka\u00e7\u0131n\u0131lmaz oldu\u011funu da kaydederek kelamlar\u0131n\u0131 \u015f\u00f6yle noktalad\u0131: &#8220;Her insan\u0131n DNA&#8217;s\u0131nda 6 milyar harf var. Bu harflerden tek birinin bir mod\u00fcl\u00fcndeki bozukluk, hastal\u0131klara yol a\u00e7abiliyor. On binlerce hastada 6 milyar noktaya bakacak olursan\u0131z, ola\u011fan ki bunu ara\u015ft\u0131rmak i\u00e7in de yapay zeka hakikaten \u00e7ok de\u011ferli. Anevrizman\u0131n olu\u015fumunda tek bir sistem yok. Sonu\u00e7 olarak kolesterol d\u00fczene\u011fi de\u011ferli damarlar\u0131n sertle\u015fmesi de\u011ferli. Anevrizma dedi\u011fimiz hastal\u0131kta asl\u0131nda birden \u00e7ok tip var. Birtak\u0131m anevrizmalar \u00e7ok sa\u011fl\u0131kl\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fcnen damarlarda ortaya \u00e7\u0131kabiliyor. Birtak\u0131m anevrizmalar ise, damar sertli\u011fi olan ve beyni de etkileyen damar sertlikleri s\u0131ras\u0131nda ortaya \u00e7\u0131kabiliyor. Bizim \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131m\u0131zda bu de\u011fi\u015fiklikleri de belirleyip hangi tipte, bunlar\u0131n temelini anlay\u0131p, hangi tedavinin ileride kullan\u0131labilece\u011fini anlamaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131yoruz. En k\u0131ymetlisi de \u015fimdi kanama olmadan bir anevrizma yatk\u0131nl\u0131\u011f\u0131 tespit edilebilirse, ila\u00e7 tedavisi uygulayabilir miyiz? Herkes i\u00e7in tek tip bir ila\u00e7 da olmayacak. Damar sertli\u011fi varsa ona nazaran de\u011fi\u015fik kombinasyonlar uygulanacak.
